Linda Niedweske

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Niedweske has specialized exclusively in employment law, with an emphasis on prevention of employment-related disputes. She is the unusual legal practitioner who represents both employers and employees, which provides her insight from the perspective of both parties. Ms. Niedweske is committed to resolving workplace disputes before resorting to judicial intervention. She has been successful in these pursuits through proactive management and advocating on behalf of her individual clients. Ms. Niedweske has extensive experience providing seminars for managers and employees, drafting policies and procedures, conducting workplace investigations, and providing counseling to employers as a means of promptly addressing workplace disputes. Ms. Niedweske’s advocacy on behalf of her individual clients is always with the intention of ensuring that employees are treated fairly and in keeping with State and federal laws as well as corporate policies.

On those occasions where disputes cannot be resolved amicably, Ms. Niedweske is an adept litigator who has appeared in State, Federal and Administrative courts as well as before administrative agencies. She has been involved in every aspect of litigation from the drafting and filing of a complaint through to trial whether before a judge or jury.

In addition to her representation of employers and employees, Ms. Niedweske was Labor Counsel to the Borough of Roselle Park and acted as a Hearing Offer for the County of Essex, New Jersey. Ms. Niedweske has also been counsel to the Municipal Management Association through Rutgers Lifelong Learning Center. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor for Rutgers’ University Master of Public Administration for such topics as “Introduction to Employment Law” and co-taught with Jessica Mariconda “Law and Public Policy.” Ms. Niedweske also co-taught with Ms. Mariconda Constitutional Law at Berkeley College.

Ms. Niedweske has lectured extensively on employment and human resources matters for companies and organizations, such as the Society for Human Resource Management, the Employee Assistance Program Association, the New Jersey Medical Society, the New Jersey Trial Lawyers Association and Lorman Educational Services.
